Since becoming a realtor in 2000, Joel has quickly become one of the valley’s top-producing agents. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and speaks Spanish fluently.
Joel grew up in St. Helena where his father was the Mayor, served on the School Board and the City Council, and currently practices law. Following his father's example of community service, Joel has served as a Chairman of the annual St. Helena Rotary Ball, is a member of the St. Helena Public Schools Foundation Board, and chairs the fundraising committee of the Board’s Endowment Trust. He has been an English-Spanish operating room translator for Rotoplast in Guatemala and a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama where he taught sustainable agriculture practices. Most recently, he was a youth leader with 20 teens from Grace Episcopal Church volunteering on a Navajo Reservation in New Mexico.
